Official Rules
The Austin Comic Con Kelly Hu Photo Op Contest winner will receive TWO (2) 3-Day Passes and photo op with Kelly Hu to Austin Comic Con at the Austin Convention Center on November 22nd - November 24th. The winner must enter to win online. Winner must be
able to verify identity to claim prize. Submission period will begin at
midnight on Sunday, November 3rd and end at 5pm on Friday, November 8th.
1. TO ENTER: No purchase or payment is necessary to win. Go to
thecwaustin.com and click on the contest tab. Go to the Austin Comic Con Kelly Hu Photo Op Contest and fill out the required information on the submission form. One winner will be randomly selected
on Friday, November 8th at approximately 5:30pm.
2. ELIGIBILITY: The Austin Comic Con Kelly Hu Photo Op Contest is open to all
residents of Texas. Employees and immediate family members of
KXAN/KNVA/KBVO are not eligible to win. Participants must be at least 18
years of age to enter.
3. ODDS: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
4. PRIZES AND NOTIFICATION: One (1) winner will receive two (2) 3-day passes and photo ops with Kelly Hu at Austin Comic Con on November 22nd - November 24th at the Austin Convention Center. The winner will be selected at random from eligible entries on Friday, November 8th at approximately 5:30pm. The winner will be contacted via e-mail or
phone and will need to claim their prize at registration at Austin Comic Con. The winner will need to check in at press registration and will receive their tickets at the pre-registration/VIP booth. The winner's name with a plus one will be on a list to be able to claim their prize.
5. Contest winner is solely responsible for the reporting and payment of
any taxes on prizes. Winner may waive their right to receive a prize.
No cash or other substitution is allowed, and prizes are
nontransferable. Prizes and individual components of prize awards are
subject to availability and KNVA reserves the right to substitute one or
more prizes or prize components with a prize or component of equal or
greater value. All prizes claimed will be awarded.
6. The Austin Comic Con Kelly Hu Photo Op Contest is subject to all federal,
state, and local laws and regulations. Participation in the Contest
constitutes an agreement by each entrant to comply with these Official
Contest Rules. Failure to comply with any term or condition of these
Official Rules may result in a winner's disqualification and the award
of his or her prize to an alternate winner.
7. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity,
interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights
and obligations of the entrant and the sponsor in connection with the
Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws
of the State of Texas, without giving effect to any choice of law or
conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of the State of Texas, or
any other jurisdiction) that would cause the application of the laws of
any jurisdiction other than the State of Texas.
8. KXAN/KNVA will not be responsible for typographical, printing or
other inadvertent textual errors in these Official Rules or in other
contest materials. The Austin Comic Con Kelly Hu Photo Op Contest is subject
to all federal, state and local regulations. Void where prohibited. If
