NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE
OF WINNING.
1. HOW TO ENTER
a. Watch Family Feud between 6:00PM and 7:00PM Monday
through Friday May 5th through May 9th, 2014
b. Look for a :30 spot that
will give you the Summer Fun Keyword of the day. Log onto thecwaustin.com and
enter that word each night after Family Feud. You will have until Midnight each
night to log on and submit the keyword for that day.
c. You may enter once per day per household.
d. Each correct answer will be entered into the final
drawing..
e. The Station is not responsible for lost, stolen,
mangled, misdelivered, illegible, incomplete or late entries.
f. The Station is not responsible for Internet
transmission errors, illegible entries, service outages, delays, busy signals,
equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent
transmitting his/her entry.
2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a. The contest is open to all KNVA viewers who are 13
years or older. Employees of KNVA
(the “Station”), its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and
affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional
partners, other television stations in the Austin metropolitan area and the
members of their immediate families and/or households are ineligible to
participate or win. Subject to all
applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
b. Only one winner per household is permitted in any
Station contest. A winner must wait 90 days before entering another contest.
c. Winner must sign a participant/prize release form.
Winner must have valid ID to claim prize and must claim prize in person. Parents/legal
guardians will need to sign for prize for anyone under 18 years of age.
3. PRIZES
Prize
for contest:
(4) tickets to RedFest for one day of the event on
Memorial Day Weekend 2014, (May 23rd-25th.) Event takes place at
Circuit of the Americas.
(4) tickets to Firestone 600 on June 7, 2014 at Texas
Motor Speedway.
(4) tickets to Schlitterbahn Water Park in New Braunfels
one day between June 1 – August 31st, 2014.
b. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize
certificate not claimed by May 23rd, 2014. The Station is not responsible for
the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate. Prize is valued at $1073.00
c. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash
equivalent for prizes, except that the Station may, at its sole discretion,
substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the
item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other
expenses. Other restrictions may
apply.
d. Winner is responsible for all travel expenses
associated with the prize.
4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
a. Decisions of the Station management with respect to
the contest are final.
b. Winner will be randomly drawn from all correct entries
on 5/19/14 at 9AM.
c. The winner will be notified by telephone. Winner must
pick up entire prize by 5/23/14 at 3PM.
d. No other persons may utilize prize other than
winner. No other person my use on winner’s behalf.
e. The odds of winning
depend upon the number of entries received.
f. Winner will be randomly chosen from all eligible
entries. Winner must execute and return any required affidavit of eligibility
and/or liability/publicity release within ten (10) days of notification attempt
or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be
chosen by random drawing of eligible entries. If a potential winner cannot be
contacted, fails to sign and return the required affidavit of eligibility
and/or liability/publicity release within the required time period, or if a
prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner
forfeits prize.
5. CONDITIONS
a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are
solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.
b. By participating in the contest, participants agree
to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting
material relating to this contest without additional financial or other
compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such
consent prior to acceptance of the prize. The Website’s Terms of Service apply to any online portions of this
Contest.
c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate,
the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their
travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the
Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated
corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and
representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or
liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the
contest.
d. The Station reserves the right to make changes in
the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent
value, which will become effective upon announcement.
e. Failure to comply with the contest rules or the
Station’s website Terms of Service may result in an entrant’s disqualification
solely at the discretion of the Station.
f. The Station is not responsible for typographical or
other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the
contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
g. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of
winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main
studio of KNVA 908 W MLK Jr. Blvd Austin, TX 78701.
h. This contest is not sponsored by
a third party.
