Official Rules
AUSTIN FASHION WEEK VIP GIVEAWAY contest winner will receive TWO (2) VIP ticket packages to Austin Fashion Week, which include entrance to NOIR & ENCORE, AFW RUNWAYS & MARKETPLACE, and AUSTIN FASHION AWARDS & AFTER PARTY. The winner must enter to win online. Winner must be able to verify identity to claim prize. Submission period will begin at midnight on Friday, April 11th and end at 11:50pm on Sunday, April 28th.
1. TO ENTER: No purchase or payment is necessary to win. Go to thecwaustin.com and enter to win. One winner will be randomly selected on Monday, April 29th at approximately 9am.
2. ELIGIBILITY: AUSTIN FASHION WEEK VIP GIVEAWAY contest is open to all residents of Texas. Employees and immediate family members of KXAN/KNVA/KBVO are not eligible to win. Participants must be at least 21 years of age to enter.
3. ODDS: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
4. PRIZES AND NOTIFICATION: The winners will be contacted via e-mail or phone and will need to pick up their tickets at the KXAN/KNVA station. Winners must be able to verify identity to claim prize.
5. Contest winner is solely responsible for the reporting and payment of any taxes on prizes. Winner may waive their right to receive a prize. No cash or other substitution is allowed, and prizes are nontransferable. Prizes and individual components of prize awards are subject to availability and KNVA reserves the right to substitute one or more prizes or prize components with a prize or component of equal or greater value. All prizes claimed will be awarded.
6. AUSTIN FASHION WEEK VIP GIVEAWAY contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Participation in the Contest constitutes an agreement by each entrant to comply with these Official Contest Rules. Failure to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules may result in a winner's disqualification and the award of his or her prize to an alternate winner.
7. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and the sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of the State of Texas, or any other jurisdiction) that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Texas.
8. KXAN/KNVA will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent textual errors in these Official Rules or in other contest materials. AUSTIN FASHION WEEK VIP GIVEAWAY contest is subject to all federal, state and local regulations. Void where prohibited.
